Privacy Policy

AlphaPips Capital (“we”, “us”) operates an educational platform for people learning about the financial markets: structured courses, a video academy, a reading library, a trading journal, calculators, an economic calendar, community spaces and related helper tools.

We are an education and software company. We are not a broker, not a fund, and we do not hold, manage or provide trading capital. That matters for privacy too: we never ask for, receive or store brokerage credentials, trading-account passwords or access to any money you hold elsewhere.

This policy covers everything you do on our website and platform. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, which have their own policies.

We store what you actively provide while using the platform:

• Account details— your name, email address and the sign-in provider you chose (email & password, Google, Apple, or a Whop membership).
• Journal entries — trades, notes, tags and statistics you record in your trading journal. This is your private study data; it is visible only to you and is never shared with other members.
• Learning activity — course enrollment, challenge progress and results you choose to track.
• Community content — posts, comments and profile details you publish in the forum, which other members can see by design.
• Support requests — messages and attachments you send to our support team.

When you use the platform we automatically receive a limited set of technical data:

• Device and browser information (type, operating system, screen size).
• Server logs — IP address, pages requested, timestamps and error reports, kept briefly for security and debugging.

We do not run advertising trackers, cross-site tracking pixels or data brokers’ scripts, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone. Ever.

We use data for the purposes you would expect and nothing hidden:

• Creating and securing your account, and keeping you signed in.
• Storing and displaying your journal, progress and community activity back to you.
• Delivering the educational content and tools included in your membership.
• Answering support requests and resolving problems.
• Sending service notices about your account or important platform changes.
• Understanding, in aggregate, which features are used so we can improve them.

We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.

We use a single essential cookie: an encrypted, signed session cookie that keeps you logged in. It is HTTP-only (scripts cannot read it), is not used for advertising, and expires automatically.

Because we use no analytics or advertising cookies, there is no cookie-consent wall to click through — there is simply nothing to opt out of.

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Whop, our payment and membership provider. Your card number and full payment details go directly to Whop and its payment processors — they never touch or get stored on our servers. What we receive is confirmation of your membership status (active, cancelled, expired) so the platform knows what you have access to.

Whop’s handling of your payment data is governed by Whop’s own privacy policy.

Some tools include optional AI assistance — for example, the journal’s AI coach, which reviews your recorded trades and gives you educational feedback on your habits.

• AI features run only when you actively use them; nothing is analyzed in the background.
• When you request a coaching review, a compact summary of your journal statistics is sent to our AI provider (Google’s Gemini API) solely to generate that response.
• We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not build behavioral profiles from it.
• AI output is educational commentary on your own data — it is not financial advice.

Platform data is stored with Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), a major cloud provider with industry-standard physical and technical security. In addition:

• All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS).
• Every data request is checked server-side against your session — your journal and private data are keyed to your account and cannot be read through another member’s session.
• Administrative access to production data is restricted to the smallest possible set of people.

No system on the internet can promise absolute security, but we design so that the sensitive surface stays small: no payment data, no brokerage credentials, no data we do not need.

You stay in control of your data:

• Access & export — you can view everything you have stored, and export your journal to CSV at any time from within the app.
• Correction & deletion — journal entries, posts and profile details can be edited or deleted directly in the platform.
• Account deletion — contact support to delete your account and its stored data.
• Statutory rights — where data-protection law (such as the GDPR or similar regulations) grants you additional rights of access, portability, objection or erasure, we honor them.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete content, it is removed from the live platform; when you delete your account, associated personal data is deleted except for the minimal records we are legally required to keep (for example, billing records retained by our payment provider).

The platform is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we will delete any such data brought to our attention.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the platform. Questions about your data are always welcome through our support channel.
